Kamryn Marie arrived on October 22 at 1:49 am. This experience was quite the opposite from Addison. She made her way into this world quietly and on her own terms. She weighed 7 lbs 7oz and was 19 inches long.
My hospital stay was uneventful except that I was not able to pee afterwards and 10 days later still can't. I will be seeing a specialist this week, who will hopefully have the answer to my problems.
Addison loves her little sister. She loves to hold her and look at her hands. I hope this continues as she realizes that Kamryn is here to stay. Only a couple of times has she told me to put her down. This week coming up should be interesting. I will be doing things by myself, my mom was here for the first week helping out. She cooked and cleaned all week long. I am so thankful and only hope that I can be the mother to my girls that she is to me.
I can't believe that I have two girls now. We are a family of 4 and it seems just as it should be. Things are good, difficult but good. Addison has hit the "terrible twos" full force, but that is a whole other post for a different time.
