Holy cow!! Time sure has flown by and I have not done a very good job keeping up with this. For my first excuse . . . my camera flash broke (in May), and second my computer was soooo slow. I have now fixed what I could and I will attempt to update everyone to the Kruisenga family happenings.
Where to begin, Christmas I suppose. We had a wonderful holiday. It was tiring as always, but we have decided that the most important thing for us as a family is spending time with close family only. If we tried to see all of the families ,we would have about 20 minutes to visit before we would have to move on to the next stop. This didn't make everyone happy, except the important family understood and were happy with the time we all had to spend with each other.
Addison was spoiled as ever and we had to rearrange the toys in the living room to accomodate the new items. For the life of me I can not remember what she even received. Yikes!!!
Addison got her first hair cut. I have pictures, but they are on the old camera and I will do my best to save them and post them. It is all so time consuming, especially when you wait to do a lot at once. I suppose my procrastination is really the problem. Anyway, back to the haircut. She did awesome. It is amazing what a piece of candy can do. She smiled the entire time, and didn't even get candy in her hair.
I suppose that after all of this was January. I wish I could recall anything of interest, we are just not that exciting.
Next, February.
We started out this month with illness. Addison had the nasty respiratory virus going around. She ran a fever and had a horrible cough. Nick also got it and of course was the typical male, he was dying. We had to postpone Addison's birthday party because of Nick's illness. Lucky for me I never got sick.
Her party went well the following week. We decided to have a small family party this year. We just can't afford the big deal every year. Also, the house is not at all ready to be full of people. We are trying to reorganize and I am amazed at how much crap we have. Nick blames me of course, he thinks I have a hoarding problem. He, on the other hand, cleans by putting things in boxes and shoving them into corners. I find these boxes and have to go through them, again!!
I guess this post was just me rambling. I will do much better from now on. Hopefully I will have more I can remember next time.

I am with you on the big birthday thing. I am ready to throw that out too. Time to just have cake and ice cream with the kids and mom and dad and call it good. Too much fuss, my kids are WAY too spoiled. On that note, let me know next time so I can send a card to Addison. Want her to know we love her and wish her a Happy Birthday regardless!
az, I agree on the party thing. We always do small family thing. Glad to see you back on the blogger. It's easy to slack of, but if you're the blog-stalker, we like updates!
